Via Castello is a singer-songwriter whose music reflects a rich blend of cultural influences, shaped by their unique upbringing between a small town in Canada and a village in Italy. This background instilled a deep connection to both nature and music, which now comes through in their heartfelt songs.

Their debut album, "Peak Inside", showcases Via’s versatility as an artist, moving seamlessly between genres. The album includes intimate acoustic tracks like "Rambles" and the playful, bluesy vibes of "Bad Bones Billy," capturing the range of their creative expression. Drawing inspiration from artists like Norah Jones, Hozier, and Jack Johnson, Via’s sound is both reflective and soulful, with a natural ability to tell stories that resonate with listeners.

For Via, music was always the first love—until the pandemic brought unforeseen challenges that caused them to step away. After struggling with mental health during this time, they found themselves pursuing other careers but never lost the desire to return to music. Now, with a renewed sense of purpose and passion, Via is back in the spotlight, eager to connect with people through their music and share their story.

Growing up in 100 Mile House in BC, and spending time in Farneta, a village in Italy near Tuscany, Via was able to soak in the beauty of both natural landscapes and tight-knit communities. These influences still echo in their music today. Now living in Vancouver, BC, they’re experiencing a dramatic shift from small-town life to the city hustle, but the vibrant local music scene has ignited a new excitement in them to find their place.

"Peak Inside" is a deeply personal project that Via considers their "baby." It was made possible with the support of a close-knit team—family, friends, and industry professionals who all came together to bring this album to life. Looking ahead, Via is already planning more releases for the spring of 2025, and they are excited to continue growing their discography and connecting with fans along the way.
